If elected, I will be responsive to my alumni constituents and a voice to be heard among my fellow trustees. We have been molded and transformed over the last 150 years to core values of honesty, integrity and excellence. It is these values that need to start at the level of our board and transcend to those who have in some way been impacted by the university. I will strive for more transparency and a collaborative process as decisions are set forth.
Change needs to be embraced within the board of trustees. Please allow me to have the honor to serve you, as we move forward with welcome changes. “Without change, something sleeps inside us, and seldom awakens. The sleeper must awaken.” (F. Herbert). May our pride continue to flourish for a great institution.
